TAKACAT LX-R SERIES

The recently released Takacat LX-R series prioritizes durability and performance. Equipped with a sturdy dual plate 3mm alloy deck and a resilient composite decking material, these boats are designed for enhanced speed compared to our inflatables.

Boasting a spacious beam and large tubes, this craft provides ample buoyancy and carrying capacity, paired with Takacats' stable catamaran-style construction.

Each model is supplied with lifting eyes for davits, rod holders, anchor locker, oars, inflatable seat, tow eyes at the front and two tow eyes on the transom.

    Takacat LX-R hulls are constructed with a thermo-welded 1.2mm TPU fabric which is extremely tough with an EVA foam overlay floor. Tried and tested for durability and superior to stitching our LX-R series are constructed with premium materials and state of the art manufacturing.

KEY FEATURES OF THE TAKACAT LX-R SERIES

1 . OPEN BOW DESIGN

Open bow design allows easy access when boarding or exiting the inflatable.  Step on and off easily with super stability due to the solid alloy decking with anchor hatch.

2. NON SKID FLOOR

The hull has an non-skid soft composite, EVA foam decking which creates a much more comfortable ride. Any water drains out the back of the transom through the internal bung. 

3. FITTED ROD HOLDERS

Each LX-R comes with 4 rod holders as standard. These are the perfect addition for the avid fisherman.

4. SAFETY GRAB HANDLES

Handles along the tubes provide safety allowing you to be able to sit anywhere.

5. VALVES

Halkey-Roberts fill valves for fast, reliable inflation and deflation. 

 All Takacat boats have over pressure valves as standard in the tubes and airdecks(from 2025) so the tubes do not over inflate due to excessive heat in the tubes.

6. OARS

Oars are provided which also allow for non motorised use.  The catamaran design makes for easy and effortless rowing.

7. THERMO-WELDED TUBE SEAMS

All Takacat boats within in PVC and TPU have thermo-welded single seam construction

8. MARINE GRADE STAINLESS D-RINGS

All Takacat boats are built with marine grade stainless D Rings

9. LIFTING EYES

LX-R Comes fitted with 4 lifting eyes which makes putting on davits easy.

10. ANCHOR HATCH

Anchor hatch provides storage for your anchor as well as luggage
